Brute force is not the only way to control.

rope

The struggle is not between bondage
and freedom. The quest is for balance.

The rope can bind, but the rope is
slack. This frees the rope for more

useful purposes. After all, a rope
used to bind can not be used

for anything else. It's purpose is
stuck -- limited -- binding its subject,

a task that takes so much energy
and attention. Convince the subject

of bondage that working with you
not in enslavement is in his best

interest and you free the subject,
you free the rope, you free your mind

you free your time to pursue more
productive endeavors.
